Event description

Join us for the next edition of the FOHLC Café, where we start our journey around the world! This time we will hear about the experiences of heritage language educators from South America. This interactive session will give you a chance to learn from practitioners who are actively engaged in supporting heritage language learners of Brazilian Portuguese across Europe.

Grab a cup of coffee and come chat about your experiences with other people involved in heritage language education. Everyone is welcome: teachers, community organizers, and anyone interested in multilingualism.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Program

This time, we are honored to welcome Rita Dorneles from Universidade de Aveiro, who will talk about the important topic of heritage language teacher training, sharing her wealth of experience and providing key tips.

We are also thrilled to be joined by Juliana Azevedo from the Universidad Internacional de la Rioja / Universidad Internacional de Valencia. Juliana will tell us all about didactics of heritage languages in the context of South American languages.
