Outreach Services
HLE Network provides presentations and workshops to organizations as part of our public outreach efforts. These organizations include but, are not limited to, schools, municipalities, private companies, non-profit organizations, and universities.
The purpose of this outreach is to improve attitudes surrounding linguistic diversity. By improving people’s understanding and appreciation of heritage language education, we fight against discrimination and promote inclusion. Positive attitudes about linguistic diversity benefits multilingual children, their families, and society as a whole.

Presentation vs. workshop
HLE Network is able to provide a presentation or a workshop. A workshop is usually longer and involves more interaction than a presentation. Of course, HLE Network is able to customize its presentations and workshops based on the needs of the organizations.
HL Myths
Heritage language education is widespread, yet it is largely unknown and misunderstood. Allow us to debunk the most common misconceptions surrounding this form of education. You will walk away from this presentation not only with a better understanding of heritage language education, but also with the realization that your own positive attitude can help heritage language programs succeed.

Support HL
In order for multilingual children to thrive, the entire community must work together. But how can we do that? This workshop introduces to you the common challenges faced by heritage language programs. Together we will come up with concrete ways in which you can value and support heritage language education and the people involved in it.

HL Mythes
Moedertaalonderwijs is wijdverspreid, maar toch is het grotendeels onbekend en verkeerd begrepen. Laat ons de meest voorkomende misvattingen over deze vorm van onderwijs ontkrachten. U zult deze presentatie niet alleen verlaten met een beter begrip van moedertaalonderwijs, maar ook met het besef dat uw eigen positieve houding moedertaalprogramma's kan helpen slagen.

HLE Network verzorgt presentaties en workshops voor organisaties als onderdeel van onze inspanningen om het publiek te bereiken. Deze organisaties omvatten, maar zijn niet beperkt tot scholen, gemeenten, particuliere bedrijven, non-profitorganisaties en universiteiten.
Het doel van deze activiteiten is het verbeteren van de houding ten opzichte van talige diversiteit. Door het begrip en de waardering van mensen voor onderwijs in moedertalen te verbeteren, bestrijden we discriminatie en bevorderen we inclusie. Een positieve houding ten opzichte van taaldiversiteit komt ten goede aan meertalige kinderen, hun families en de samenleving als geheel.

Presentation vs. workshop
HLE Network kan een presentatie of een workshop verzorgen. Een workshop is meestal langer en gaat gepaard met meer interactie dan een presentatie. Uiteraard kan HLE Network haar presentaties en workshops aanpassen aan de behoeften van de organisaties.
Steun voor HL
Om meertalige kinderen te laten gedijen, moet de hele gemeenschap samenwerken. Maar hoe kunnen we dat doen? In deze workshop maakt u kennis met de gemeenschappelijke uitdagingen van moedertaalprogramma's. Samen komen we tot concrete manieren waarop u moedertaalonderwijs en de mensen die erbij betrokken zijn kunt waarderen en ondersteunen.
