Reading in the Heritage Language: A video series for parents

In May of this year, we posted the first video in this series, about the importance of reading to babies in the HL. Now the rest of the videos in series are available!

In each short videos from Eindhoven Italian School "La Lampadina," it is first explained why it is important to read to a particular age group in the heritage languages. Then, examples of books are shown from the 500 books available in the Italian section of Eindhoven Library's International Children's Book Collection.

Of course, the benefits of reading in the mother tongue that are described in the video hold for all languages!
