It's here . . . GivingTuesday! GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. The idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
HLE Network is hoping to raise funds through donations today to support us in our mission. Won't you help us promote and nurture linguistic diversity?
With your help, we can continue to create promotional materials to inform the public about the importance of heritage language education and about the International Children's Book Collection at Eindhoven Library. We can continue to organize professional development events for heritage language professionals.
But that's not all! We can hire expert speakers for public outreach events, purchase prizes for contests that promote reading in the HL, and participate in informational events organized by our partners. Our program of activities closely aligns with three of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals for 2030.
HLE Network is now registered with Geef.nl. This means that there is an easy way to make a donation to our organization. Because we are a charitable ("ANBI") foundation, donors know that our efforts are for the public good, and they can deduct donations from their taxable income. Periodic gifts are also possible.
