Amsterdam City Council votes to promote language friendly schools

The city of Amsterdam has decided in January 2023 to implement language-friendly policy at its schools. Schools in Amsterdam may no longer prohibit children from speaking their home language at school.


This is an example that we hope other city councils across the Netherlands will follow!
