It was high time for high tea: A new tradition of volunteer team-building

This year, HLE Network welcomed spring with something special: a volunteer appreciation luncheon to celebrate the incredible people who make our activities possible. The ones behind the scenes at our events, the friendly faces at our expo booths, and of course our esteemed board members — all came together for a gezellig gathering. Over cake and focaccia, we had a chance to get to know each other better and celebrate everything we have achieved together.

It was more than just a "thank-you." This gathering marked the start of a new tradition—an annual team-building event to strengthen our community. To our volunteers: we couldn’t do it without you. Here’s to another year of working together to support heritage language education!
